Support Bilad al-Sham

Help families across Jordan where the need is greatest, guided locally by Sheikh Almuatasamellah, Imam and custodian of the historic Cave of the Seven Sleepers. Your donation supports the Jordan Education Centre, school transport, books and uniforms, food support, healthcare and medicines, and urgent help for widows, orphans, and refugee households. We allocate quickly to the highest priority so children stay in school, families eat, and dignity is protected.

 We follow a 100% Donation Policy, project funds are used only for work on the ground, and UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid.

Do you take money from my donation?

No. We operate as 100% donations policy charity. Your donations fund your chosen projects entirely.

Our running costs are covered separately through Gift Aid, so if you’re a UK taxpayer, please tick the Gift Aid box at checkout to add 25% at no extra cost. This allows us to cover admin, marketing, staff etc through Gift Aid, not your donation.

Can we use Gift Aid for projects?

Yes, UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid. Gift Aid is a government top-up for the charity’s general running costs (admin, safeguarding, monitoring & evaluation, compliance). It helps us deliver and maintain projects but more importantly allows us to function as a 100% donation charity.

Can I give as Zakat?

Yes, look for items marked Zakat-eligible. We allocate Zakat to eligible recipients in line with Islamic guidance. If unsure, give as Sadaqah or ask your scholar.
