Why build a mosque?

Help establish a house of Allah that serves prayer, learning, and community every day. This product funds a small, purpose built mosque with proper foundations, brick and steel structure, durable flooring and carpet, lighting and electrics, wudu and washrooms, water storage and drainage, doors and windows, and a simple sound setup for adhan and khutbah. This is powerful Sadaqah Jariyah, the reward continues as long as people worship and learn.

 “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise” (Bukhari, Muslim).

Plaque recognition can be arranged with respectful wording. Zakat is generally not used for mosques, please give as Sadaqah or consult your scholar. We operate a 100 percent Donation Policy, project funds are used only on the build, UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid.

This donation is for a small mosque. For larger or bespoke builds, including expanded prayer halls, multi storey layouts, classrooms, or special site conditions, please contact our team to scope and price your project.

This funds a small, purpose built mosque with proper foundations, brick and steel structure, roof and waterproofing, durable carpet and flooring, electrics and lighting, wudu and washrooms, water storage and drainage, secure doors and windows, a simple sound setup for adhan and khutbah. Respectful plaque wording is available where suitable.

Large and bespoke projects

If you wish to fund a larger or custom build, we can scope and deliver expanded prayer halls, women’s areas, classrooms, multi storey layouts, complex ground works, or heritage styling. Speak to our team to design the project, confirm location and beneficiaries, agree budget and timeline, and receive phased updates from site.

FAQ

Do you take money from my donation?

No. We operate as 100% donations policy charity. Your donations fund your chosen projects entirely.

Our running costs are covered separately through Gift Aid, so if you’re a UK taxpayer, please tick the Gift Aid box at checkout to add 25% at no extra cost. This allows us to cover admin, marketing, staff etc through Gift Aid, not your donation.

Can we use Gift Aid for projects?

Yes, UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid. Gift Aid is a government top-up for the charity’s general running costs (admin, safeguarding, monitoring & evaluation, compliance). It helps us deliver and maintain projects but more importantly allows us to function as a 100% donation charity.

Do you provide aftercare and maintenance?

We aim to support aftercare (training committees, providing basic spares, periodic checks), but long-term sustainability relies on community stewardship. If we do everything indefinitely, local ownership can weaken so we balance support with training and handover.

Can I give as Zakat?

Yes, look for items marked Zakat-eligible. We allocate Zakat to eligible recipients in line with Islamic guidance. If unsure, give as Sadaqah or ask your scholar.
