What it is

A Champion event is an invite only fundraiser hosted by an individual, business, school, or community group. You choose the cause. You arrange the venue and guests. Our speaker attends, shares the story, and manages the pledge moment. One focused night can raise a transformational total.

Promise: 100% of project funds raised go to the cause

How it works

1) Choose your cause

Pick from current appeals such as Model City 2, Gaza relief, water projects, orphan support, Jordan Education Centre, or another approved project. We will align the talk, media, and pledge cards to your choice.

2) Set the date and format

Select a convenient date and decide the format. Examples include dinner, afternoon tea, boardroom briefing, corporate lunch and learn, school assembly, or mosque gathering.

3) Host and invite

Book the venue. Send invitations. Arrange catering or simple refreshments. Create a warm room where giving feels natural. We supply digital assets, short videos, pledge cards, and a simple run sheet.

4) Inspire and pledge

Our speaker delivers a concise presentation with proof of impact and a clear funding ask. We then guide the room through pledges at different levels. You can collect standing orders and one off gifts on the night.

5) Settle and update

Donors complete pledges by card, bank transfer, or online link. You receive a short post event summary and later, progress updates for the project you supported.

Total time about 60 to 90 minutes.

Costs and the 100% model

You or your organisation cover venue, food, printing, and AV if needed. This keeps project gifts at 100%. Every project pound raised on the night goes to the cause. Card fees are managed through our pricing and core support as explained on the How 100% Works page. We can provide Gift Aid forms for UK taxpayers.

Compliance and safeguarding

We bring charity ID, collection authority, and receipt systems. Funds are paid directly to Purpose of Life by card, bank transfer, or QR link. We do not accept cash without prior arrangement and dual count. Data is handled under our privacy policy. Raffle or auction activity must follow local rules.

Can we choose a bespoke project or plaque name
Yes. For builds and long term projects we will agree the wording and scope in advance.

What if we fall short of the target
Any amount raised is valuable. We can also set a second mini event or enable monthly pledges to finish the goal.

Can international friends donate
Yes. We will provide a link that accepts international cards.

Do you provide a speaker in my city
We do our best to attend in person. If travel is not possible, we can deliver the presentation live over video with local volunteers collecting pledges.
