Dear brother/sister,
In 2020, I wrote down a personal goal to build an orphanage for vulnerable children.
Six years later, that goal has become a reality.
The Faridi Home Orphanage 32 has now been built to provide a safe, loving home for Rohingya orphans who are growing up in some of the world’s most challenging conditions, facing extreme poverty, displacement and uncertainty.
While building the orphanage was a huge milestone, this is only the beginning. A building alone doesn’t change lives—the care, support and opportunities we provide inside it do.
That’s why I’m now raising £10,000 to help cover the orphanage’s running costs and support further life-changing projects. I want to give others the opportunity to become part of this journey and help shape the future of these children. By donating, you’re not simply contributing financially—you are becoming part of a mission that will change lives for years to come.
In October, I will be travelling to Rohingya to personally visit The Faridi Home Orphanage 32, meet the children, spend time with the team on the ground and support the wider humanitarian work being carried out. It is incredibly important to me to witness the impact of this project firsthand and continue building on the vision that began as a simple goal six years ago.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide:
- Safe accommodation
- Nutritious meals
- Education
- Clothing
- Hygiene essentials
- Daily care, love and support for every child
This project has always been deeply personal to me. Achieving this dream has been one of the proudest moments of my life, and now I’d love for you to become part of its story.
By donating, you’re not just giving money—you’re helping provide a child with safety, hope and the opportunity for a brighter future.
Thank you for supporting this mission and for helping us make a lasting difference.
Together, we can give these children more than just a home—we can give them hope for the future.

FAQ
Do you take money from my donation?
No. We operate as 100% donations policy charity. Your donations fund your chosen projects entirely.
Our running costs are covered separately through Gift Aid, so if you’re a UK taxpayer, please tick the Gift Aid box at checkout to add 25% at no extra cost. This allows us to cover admin, marketing, staff etc through Gift Aid, not your donation.
Can we use Gift Aid for projects?
Yes, UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid. Gift Aid is a government top-up for the charity’s general running costs (admin, safeguarding, monitoring & evaluation, compliance). It helps us deliver and maintain projects but more importantly allows us to function as a 100% donation charity.
Do you provide aftercare and maintenance?
We aim to support aftercare (training committees, providing basic spares, periodic checks), but long-term sustainability relies on community stewardship. If we do everything indefinitely, local ownership can weaken so we balance support with training and handover.
Can I give as Zakat?
Yes, look for items marked Zakat-eligible. We allocate Zakat to eligible recipients in line with Islamic guidance. If unsure, give as Sadaqah or ask your scholar.
