According to the United Nations (UN) there are 630 thousand Israeli settlers in Occupied Palestinian Territory with 593 roadblocks and checkpoints obstructing Palestinian movement in the West Bank aimed at protecting Israeli settlers in the illegally constructed settlements constituting a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention.

There are a total of 1.5 million refugees in Gaza & the West Bank, 2 million Palestinians who are food insecure and access to water is below internationally recommended levels - with Israel controlling 85% of Palestinian water sources.
